The Huff and puff race
On the 19th of November the joyful juniors had just took part in the Huff and Puff race. This is when the junior syndicate take part in a little race but it doesn`t matter if you came first or not, taking part is good its self.Me,Ye Rim,Christina,Ben.c and Ipeleng had helped the juniors and had raced along with them. There was also a parent race that the viewers could take part in.Well done to all the people who did it.As well as Matthew from rm4 as he took part in all the races. All the juniors did so well, even the team.Well done! I can`t wait until next years race!
Hansi`s Athletics Day
On the 14th of November the middles and seniors had their annual Athletics day!It is when the best of the best compete in these 4 events,High jump,Long jump,Shot put and Discus. But not everybody competes in the field events.People who did not make it to the field events had just as much fun at tabloids.Tabloids is when you get gathered in to teams and play games. As well as showing respect and working in a team.My team earned a lot of points and they were very encouraging. And finally, the last event, relays. To finish things off we have relays.Relays is when run against other people.Everybody had done so well but last of all for athletics day is...THE CLASS RELAYS!This one of the most greatest events, its when class students race each other. And the class that won was Rm12!Well done Rm12!Hopefully we can have another Athletics day next week!

Grasshopper Tennis
Over the past few weeks we have been doing a tennis progamme. It is called Grasshopper Tennis and it has been really fun.We learn new skills and games you could play in tennis. It has been really enjoyable but you find it frustrating when you lose games. But its worth it as you are leaning new skills.I really like tennis and almost every lunch time we play tennis.Tennis is also a good way to keep fit too.
Senior Syndicate Festival Choir
Over the last 3 terms the senior choir have been practising for the big night. They performed in Auckland wonderful Town Hall! The Town Hall is famous for it's amount of seat as well as the huge pipe organ. We sang over 10 songs, it was hard work but we managed to do it!
A Sunnybrae ex pupil Ray Ong played the violin in front of the audience. He got a scholarship of 1,000 dollars to pay for lessons and equipment. All of the girls from room 11 are in choir.
Over all the senior coir did really well and was extremely magnificent.
Oh we forgot to say that Mrs Blair and Mrs Stewart were the Rayletts.
Thanks for all you did choir trainers.

Senior Syndicate Camp Preparation
Camp is coming up! We'll be having lots of fun. Hopefully there will be sun. These past few weeks, everyone is getting ready for camp. We had to bring some nuts, chocolate or dried fruit for a yummy scroggin. We also needed some fresh fruit for our stoves. but that's not all, everyone made home baking for camp. Slices, muffins and biscuits, they're all there. Now that's the food preparation, then its the gear preparation. We have lots of gear, so we put them in a big suitcase or bag. Now we are ready for camp!
Hunua Falls Camp Preparation
Tuesday 21st October is the day when camp starts. From Tuesday to Friday we will have our Senior Syndicate Camp at Hunua Falls. The Yr 6s go to Kokako Lodge and the Yr 5s go to the Hunua Falls Presbyterian Camp. We've only had one week to get everything ready like our yummy scroggin ingredients (nuts, dried fruit, chocolate), our home baking and that our camp books are ruled up, set out properly and is ready to take to camp. There are quite a lot of campfire songs that we would need to learn but they sound pretty for a start. I can't wait until our preparations are put into action because we are ready.
