Welcome to Term 2 in Room 11

We are really lucky to have a student teacher Miss Pedersen with us for the first four weeks of this term. She has taught us a really cool new game called Prison Break and is reading us
There' s A Boy In The Girl's Bathroom by Louis Sacher.

Our theme topic is Advertising and we have had a lot of fun looking in magazines to find out the most common features of advertisements and making posters about these. It's amazing how these features are used to make us want to buy things, even down to using special colours to make us feel hungry. If you don't know what these colours are think of the slogans of fast food chains and work out what is a 'hungry' colour.

In week 2 we had special soccer coaching from experts who will be running soccer skills classes before school on a Tuesday morning. Unfortunately this clashes with the choir practice time so that means none of our girls from Room 11 will be able to attend as they are all in the choir!!
